Relationship Systems Coaching for
Teams & Business Partnerships

A team is two or more people who share a common purpose in the pursuit of creating something new.  Families, C Suite members, business partnerships—including couples who are also business partners—teams at work, boards of directors, sports teams, community consortiums, are all examples of teams.  Teams are a dynamic collaborative that cross borders, generations, hierarchy, expertise.

Teaming is an untapped natural energy source that comes to life when a diverse group of individuals work together.  Regardless of whether team members are co-located or working virtually, teaming can enrich the soil for diversity and innovation.

Why do teams come to coaching?  When anything changes in the structure of a system, teams experience disruption.  This affects positivity, productivity and quality.  While everything is shifting, teams still need to sustain a sense of wellbeing to function effectively and innovate.

Judy helps teams move into right relationship to build their capacity for innovation.  Right relationship creates a space of safety and trust for risk taking, failing, learning and speaking up.  A marginalized voice can be the most innovative.  This strengthens a team’s freedom to improvise on the fly.

Sometimes a team needs a new way of seeing things, a breath of fresh energy, or an exit from stalled, stuck or skeptical.  Judy assists the team in refocusing and bringing their collective intelligences to bear.  This fuels better decisions and stepping into changing roles with greater confidence.  Through the relationship systems lens, Judy also helps teams identify where the obstacles to team engagement may be lurking.  These include burnout, lack of psychological safety, needed skills and other resources, to name a few.

“The test of a first-rate intelligence is the ability to hold two opposed ideas in mind at the same time and still retain the ability to function.”

— F. Scott Fitzgerald
